Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data assetwhisper.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It describes what the site actually does, not what a template assumes it might do.

What we collect, and why

We do not ask for, and have no use for, financial account details. Never send us account numbers, card details, passwords or broker credentials. We will never ask for them, and any message that appears to come from us asking for them is not from us.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Hostinger — website hosting and server logs.
- Brevo — newsletter delivery and subscriber management. Brevo is established in the EU.
- Google Analytics — audience measurement. Google may process data outside the EEA; transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses.
- Google AdSense — advertising delivery and measurement, where advertising is shown. Same transfer basis as above.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors above.
Cookies
Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are set without consent, as the law permits. Analytics and advertising cookies are not necessary, and where consent is required they should be set only after you give it. Our cookie policy lists what is set, by whom, and for how long, and explains how to refuse or delete them.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, plus a short record of the unsubscribe so we do not email you again by mistake.
- Comments: kept while the article is published, so the discussion stays readable.
- Emails to us: as long as needed to deal with the matter, then deleted.
- Analytics: according to the retention configured in the analytics service, and in aggregate form thereafter.
- Server logs: a short rolling window kept by the host for security.
Your rights
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or hand it over in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
Write to hello@assetwhisper.com. We will reply within one month. You do not need to explain who you are beyond what we need to find your data.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or the authority where you live.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes materially we update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we use data you have already given us, we say so on the site rather than changing it quietly.
